Dreamy lace elements from Yelets, Russia
Several eveningwear pieces incorporate the Yelets lacemaking technique, with embellishments being provided by the "Kruzhevnoi Krai" atelier. One can discover a shape resembling a Northern church in the design of a corset in a blue dress – the lace changes its nature and becomes more geometrical.
More than 470 hours were spent weaving this piece. A gray corset with a basque in another dress contains the thinnest netting of lace in the form of an outline of horses. 4 months of uninterrupted work were needed to complete the garment.
